My name is [Your Name Here]. I am a resident of [City, State Here], and I am writing today to demand accountability for the racist and unjust murder of Tete Gulley. Clear and precise action must be taken regarding the failure to properly investigate her gruesome death. The Portland Police Bureau needs to investigate the critical evidence of witnesses and key suspects and needs to remedy their negligence IMMEDIATELY. The lack of immediate action from authorities and the Oregon State Medical Examiner against the assailants who committed the racially motivated murder was and is completely unacceptable.

Please take action and do all you can in bringing justice for Tete, her family, and friends and see that the criminals involved are charged for the hate crime they have committed. We must find and create safe spaces free of hate and violence for Black transgender lives everywhere.
